This timeframe is indicative and mainly depends on the availability of parts currently in stock in our workshop. Delivery can be faster, as reducing the delay between order confirmation and shipping remains one of our main priorities. We continuously work to keep the necessary parts available in order to optimize production and assembly.

Take the time to discover the instrument in your own environment with our 30-day return policy. This approach allows you to experience the feel, balance, resonance, and response of the instrument without pressure or compromise. For more information, please refer to our FAQ or home trial section.

Each instrument is assembled, adjusted, and carefully inspected in our workshop before shipping. Action, intonation, neck adjustment, electronics, hardware, and finishing details are individually checked on every model. Every instrument leaves the workshop in optimal playing condition and ready for immediate use.

Built for balance and control.

With its original 3+1 headstock design, the bass neck is built for stability, precision, and long-term reliability. Made from carefully selected maple with a pau ferro fretboard, it maintains a consistent structure under tension, supporting accurate intonation across the full scale. The 34″ scale length follows a widely used standard, with clear note definition and controlled low-end response. A 38 mm nut width keeps string spacing comfortable for both fingerstyle and more precise techniques. Each neck undergoes tension-based leveling, allowing a low setup if required while keeping consistency along the fretboard. The Tru-Oil finish gives a smooth, natural touch.

Precision through simplicity.

A single Steelyjam humbucker defines a focused and controlled tonal foundation. Designed as a fully passive configuration, it keeps the signal path direct and responsive. The pickup can be switched between series and parallel modes, offering two distinct voices without adding complexity. Series mode emphasises depth and output, while parallel mode shifts toward a more open and defined response. The tone control allows precise adjustment of high frequencies, making it easy to move from sharp attack to a smoother, more rounded character. The winding has been developed to maintain clarity in both configurations, keeping articulation intact across the full range. This setup favors efficiency, precision, and immediate interaction with the instrument. Each wiring is based on our original and universal PCB, enabling clean assembly and quick component changes without soldering.

A partnership founded on innovation.

The Schaller 3D-4 bridge is purpose-built for bass, combining precision engineering with practical control. Its fully adjustable 3-dimensional design allows fine tuning of string height, intonation, and spacing, giving players complete control over their setup. The low-friction Pure Sound brass roller saddles reduce string stress and help prevent breakage, ensuring smooth performance even under heavy playing. Their solid brass construction also supports efficient vibration transfer for a clear and defined response. With its robust build and carefully balanced design, the 3D-4 delivers consistency, reliability, and long-term stability across all playing conditions.

The advantages of an aluminium body.

The one-piece aluminium body defines the foundation of Steelyjam instruments. It combines precision manufacturing with long-term reliability, using advanced CNC machining and laser cutting to create a rigid, stable welded structure. Aluminium delivers a clear and balanced tonal response, with direct vibration transfer across the entire body. Its conductive properties also help reduce electromagnetic interference, resulting in a clean and noiseless signal. Like wood, it can be endlessly customised using techniques such as anodising, painting, surface treatment, or laser engraving. Resistant to temperature and humidity variations, it maintains its structural integrity over time.
