Each instrument is assembled, adjusted, and carefully inspected in our workshop before shipping. Action, intonation, neck adjustment, electronics, hardware, and finishing details are individually checked on every model. Every instrument leaves the workshop in optimal playing condition and ready for immediate use.

The Steelyjam deluxe gig bag features thick padding for optimal protection during transport and storage. Finished in black with the Steelyjam logo on the front pocket, it includes a large compartment for A4 documents and accessories, internal neck support straps, reinforced shoulder straps, and a rigid handle for comfortable everyday transport.

Its one-piece aluminium body provides strength and resonance, while two humbuckers offer a broad and powerful tonal range. The Player neck features a distinctive 5+1 headstock design, creating a modern and recognisable silhouette. Built entirely from roasted maple for both the neck and fingerboard, it offers strong stability and a precise, articulate response. The 9.5″ radius creates a comfortable balance between chord playing and lead work, supporting smooth bends and controlled action. The high-gloss finish brings a smooth, premium feel and supports long-term durability. Combined with a well-known 25.5″ scale length, it brings clarity and definition across the fretboard. Locking tuners allow quick and efficient string changes while maintaining solid tuning stability. In partnership with Elixir Strings, all our models are equipped with OPTIWEB .010-.046 strings, selected for their crisp tone, natural feel, and extended lifespan.

The versatility of two humbuckers.

Two Steelyjam humbuckers give the Delta Player a broad and familiar tonal range. Their winding sits between a classic PAF-style character and a more modern humbucker, keeping the openness and dynamics of a vintage design while adding enough output for a stronger, more immediate response. The neck pickup is rounder and warmer, while the bridge is tighter, more focused and more articulate. Output levels are calibrated to keep the three switch positions balanced and usable. A 3-way selector, master volume and tone complete the setup. The electronics use our original Universal Wiring Board, allowing quick component changes without soldering.

The Schaller 3D-6 bridge reflects German engineering at its finest. Designed for precision and versatility, it offers full 3-dimensional adjustment, allowing accurate control over string height, intonation, and spacing to match any playing style. Its Pure Sound brass roller saddles ensure smooth string movement, excellent tuning stability, and optimal vibration transfer. This advanced level of adjustability enables a highly refined setup, delivering consistent feel and accuracy across the entire fretboard. Built for reliability and long-term performance, it provides a solid foundation for both tone and playability.

The advantages of an aluminium body.

The one-piece aluminium body defines the foundation of Steelyjam instruments. It combines precision manufacturing with long-term reliability, using advanced CNC machining and laser cutting to create a rigid, stable welded structure. Aluminium delivers a clear and balanced tonal response, with direct vibration transfer across the entire body. Its conductive properties also help reduce electromagnetic interference, resulting in a clean and noiseless signal. Like wood, it can be endlessly customised using techniques such as anodising, painting, surface treatment, or laser engraving. Resistant to temperature and humidity variations, it maintains its structural integrity over time.

One board, all the electronics.

Steelyjam’s Universal Wiring Board was developed to make electronics easier to upgrade, modify and service. Pickups, split controls, tone values and other configurations can be changed without soldering. Its original circuit and layout support every guitar and bass configuration offered by Steelyjam. The board connects directly to the aluminium body and Faraday cage for complete electrical shielding. Servicing is just as simple: damaged components can be replaced with plug-in replacements, and the board itself can also be swapped as a complete unit if needed. Designed entirely by Steelyjam, the Universal Wiring Board is fitted to every instrument we produce.

Tone, controlled from within.

Inside the aluminium body, we use an ultra-light synthetic fibre to control unwanted internal resonances and keep frequencies clean and balanced. Similar materials are used in monitoring speakers, where they help manage internal reflections without colouring the sound. Soft, durable and extremely light, this tone-control fibre allows the aluminium body to retain its key advantages, including sustain, precision and Faraday shielding, without compromise. The result is a clean, controlled response that gives the pickups an ideal foundation to reproduce their natural character.
